In the Private Equity & Venture Capital Division, members will primarily focus on learning the roles and responsibilities of those working in the Private Equity and Venture Capital industries. This will entail market/consumer/competitor research, sourcing, due diligence, networking with entrepreneurs and professionals. Additionally, members will be performing deep dives into proforma financials and learning how to analyze, calculate, and compute some of the basic formulas, as well as gain a basic understanding of valuation-based financial modeling. After an extensive learning curriculum, members will be tasked with hands-on projects and real work experience. Our goal is for members to gain a large amount of work experience within their desired sector, as well as produce tangible results that will enable them to be of benefit to future employers. Members will also gain key networking skills and techniques used for expanding their personal network within PE/VC.
